In the morning and in the afternoon you go on game drives in the game reserve. The Xakanaxa Lagoon and the surrounding channels can be explored by boat.

Day 4 | Okavango Delta – flight to Kasane – Chobe NP & Chobe River

You are taken to the airstrip and fly on a Cessna again, now to Chobe/Kasane. The flight time is approx. 50 minutes. At Kasane airport you are met by our tour guide.

The lodge on the bank of the Chobe River offers access to the natural wonders of this breathtaking landscape as well as to the famous Victoria Falls.

On our exciting game drives and on a boat safari we discover the local fauna & flora – lions, leopards, elephants and buffalo as well as numerous other bush and river inhabitants.

Overnight stay & half board in the same safari lodge

Days 5 & 6 | Chobe & Victoria Falls

We cross the border into Zimbabwe and drive to Victoria Falls – the widest waterfalls in the world. The falls drop up to 100 m here – a unique experience. The locals call the falls “Mosi-oa-Tunya” – “the smoke that thunders”.

In the afternoon you can relax at the lodge, for example by the large pool, at the cocktail bar or in the spa. We enjoy the evening with dinner under the African night sky.

Two more nights’ stay & half board again in the same lodge at Chobe

Day 7 | Chobe – Caprivi / Namibia

Today our vehicle is delivered. Your tour guide sets off with you in a 4x4 vehicle.

We cross the border into Namibia and drive along the Caprivi Strip, bordered by the Okavango, Kwando and Zambezi rivers. Elephants are particularly numerous.

We spend two days in the first-class resort & spa. The luxurious air-conditioned chalets with large terraces offer the best view of the wonderful wildlife. The roar of the Popa Falls, only 1 km away, provides a natural background soundtrack.

Overnight stay & half board in the luxury resort & spa

Day 8 | Caprivi

We visit Mahango Game Reserve. This park is much smaller than Etosha and ideal for a short visit. Elephants, buffalo, lions and leopards are very present in the park and easy to spot.

We also visit the Popa Falls. They are not the biggest in Namibia, but offer a breathtaking backdrop.

Overnight stay & half board again in the same resort & spa

Day 9 | Rundu – Okavango River

We leave the Caprivi Strip and head for Rundu – the second-largest town in Namibia, on the south bank of the Okavango in the otherwise flat foothills of the northern Kalahari Basin.

Then we continue to our accommodation, a river lodge on the Okavango River. This lodge lies right on the Okavango, opposite Angola.

In the evening we take a sunset cruise on the Okavango River and let the day end with a beautiful sunset. For dinner we sit on the terrace of the lodge’s own restaurant and enjoy the culinary variety.

Overnight stay & half board in the 4* river lodge

Day 10 | Okavango River to Etosha

We set off for Etosha. In the afternoon we reach the Etosha Pan. Etosha National Park is probably the best-known national park in northern Namibia and the country’s most important wildlife reserve.

The park lies on the north-western edge of the Kalahari Basin and covers almost the whole Etosha Pan. The name “Etosha” comes from Oshivambo and means something like “great white place”. We stay on the eastern side of Etosha National Park.

Overnight stay & half board in a 5* bush camp or a 4* game lodge

Day 11 | Another day in Etosha National Park

A full day of exciting forays into the African landscape. A magnificent and varied wildlife awaits you, such as elephants, black rhinos, hyenas, antelope, lions, cheetahs as well as zebras, vultures, giraffes and other wildlife.

Overnight stay & half board in a 4* lodge at the other entrance of Etosha

Day 12 | Drive to the private farm near Okahandja

We say goodbye to the wild animals of Etosha and drive towards Okahandja. In the late afternoon we reach the private game & guest farm.

We will be surprised by which wild animals we spot today. At sunset we return to the lodge. In the evening a barbecue is prepared for us here.

On this farm we are the only guests and are looked after individually, pampered and surprised. The real Africa cannot be experienced any better or more authentically.

Overnight stay & full board at the private farm

Days 13 & 14 | Two days in Namibian Africa

Early in the morning and in the late afternoon, if you wish, we go on our private game drives across the 8,000-hectare farm. At sunrise there is a picnic along the way, a glass of wine or a sunset surprise.

We discover springbok, zebras, giraffes and much more. Back at the guesthouse, after a hearty breakfast/brunch, there is time to relax by the pool, for Anna’s spa treatment or to bathe in the “hot springs”, the natural hot springs.

The peace and the nature on this farm will delight you.

Two nights’ stay & full board again at this farm

Day 15 | Drive to Windhoek – flight to Cape Town

After a possible last early-morning game drive on the farm we say goodbye to Namibia. From Windhoek airport we fly to Cape Town.

In South Africa you now have five days (or more) for the city, the Cape and the vineyards. Or, if you wish, play golf or take an excursion to Hermanus (whales) or to the West Coast in flower season.
